Join us for an introduction to the Mother Sequence. Open to all levels.
We will explore a sequence created by Jehangir Palkhivala, one of BKS Iyengar’s students. It combines strengthening, stretching and meditative poses to help firm the body and focus the mind. This sequence is described in the 21-Day Yoga Challenge: Inspiration for a Lifetime of Good Health book being released February 2019. A great practice to add to your yoga tool box and a wonderful way enhance your overall well-being.
Each day from February 28-March 20, members of the YMCA will participate in the 21-day yoga challenge. This practice is one of the offerings during the challenge and is noted on the GX schedule as 21-day yoga challenge.
